How do clients collect information from users?
Clients use Scaleo for pixel or server postback tracking to collect information about Users.
Pixel tracking stores a session identifier in a user’s cookie on click.
In postback tracking, Scaleo directly creates and sends a unique identifier to the advertiser on click. If a conversion happens, the advertiser then communicates back this unique identifier to Scaleo for validation purposes.
How Clients use Scaleo to process information from users?
Scaleo uses data, which does not personally identify any enduser, in order to allow a more accurate targeting for any advertisements by our clients.
What Information is Scaleo collecting from its clients?
Signing up as a Client requires setting up a Scaleo Platform.
During this process, we collect data such as, but not limited to, Name, Email, Company, and SkypeID.
Scaleo may disclose data in the event we suspect fraudulent, malicious, or unlawful activity or believe that we are legally required to do so.
Scaleo may also collect and share anonymous aggregated data derived from the Scaleo platform, including, statistics about the platform activity.
We may transfer such data to a successor entity in connection with a corporate merger, consolidation, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or other corporate change.
